Sheena Hadi

Sheena Hadi is the Director of Aahung, a non-profit organisation that promotes the sexual and reproductive health and rights of men, women and young people across Pakistan. In 2001, she completed her Bachelors degree in Biology from Amherst College, Massachusetts and later earned an M.Ed in Developmental Psychology from Harvard University.
Before transitioning to Director in 2008, Sheena was heading the Life Skills Component of Aahung, which aims to develop life skills education tools for young people and train teachers on the implementation of a reproductive health education program in schools.
Prior to Aahung, Sheena was teaching science in a private school in New York City at the primary and secondary school level. In 2009, she completed her certification in Humanistic Integrative Counseling in association with Therapy Works, Pakistan and CPPD, UK.
